The shape
Each Thumb Cup is thrown on the wheel with a tall, straight-sided tumbler form and thumb and finger indents pressed into the side for grip, then turned and finished by hand the next day, built for an iced coffee or a long glass of something cold.
The glaze
A deep, unapologetic pink brought back down to earth by a soft sand base and small brown flecks in the clay body. Named for the peonies that flower for about a fortnight and are worth the wait.

Every piece is thrown and finished by hand, so small differences in shape, glaze movement, colour and texture are part of its unique character.
