A neat teaspoon rest for keeping a teaspoon or tea bag off the counter, glazed in Cornflower. This Teaspoon Rest is thrown on the wheel in my home studio in Congleton, Cheshire, sized to sit tidily by the kettle. Once thrown, it's turned and finished by hand the next day, then dried, bisque fired, glazed, and fired again before it's ready to use.
Cornflower is a soft blue poured over white, left to gather and deepen where it pools, with the clay showing through at the edges — no two pieces carry quite the same markings.
